Job Description
* Conduct initial health assessments, progress notes, annual wellness exams, acute illness/minor injury evaluations, and residential program health statements
* Develop differential diagnostic assessments, risk assessments, patient education, and progress toward treatment goals
* Document member's progress toward medical health goals in the clinical record and provide medication education and informed consent when possible
* Order follow-up blood levels and supportive laboratory tests according to standard medical practice
Requirements
* Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
* Minimum one year of primary care experience as a medical professional
* Experience working in an integrated behavioral health setting highly preferred
* Fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight weeks of hire
* TB Test clearance required at the time of hire
* Strong commitment to rural healthcare and community well-being
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong computer skills and typing abilities, including EHR/EMR systems and MS Office
