The Program Coordinator is accountable for the overall performance of assigned programs and employees, overseeing operational, administrative, and service coordination functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and direct program functions and objectives, collect and analyze performance data, implement policies and procedures, and recommend program improvements.
- Coordinate housing services and employment readiness for individuals.
- Manage assessments, ISPs, intakes, discharges, and crisis interventions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Recruit, train, and develop program staff while managing performance evaluations.
- Provide weekly administrative oversight through individual and team meetings.
- Conduct periodic audits of records, services, and administrative processes to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to agency policies, licensing requirements, and training standards.
- Oversee staff scheduling and ensure timely completion of required reports, including timesheets, performance evaluations, satisfaction surveys, and facility reviews.
- Schedule and attend service plan meetings for individuals served.
- Promote positive member outcomes through exceptional care, engagement, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate member files and ensure compliance with standard regulations.
- Track and report data metrics as required.
- Be available to work days, evenings, and weekends, including providing emergency shift coverage when needed.
- Carry a company-issued cell phone to respond to emergencies and provide team support.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience working with adults in a residential care setting. (Equivalent experience of six years in behavioral health may be considered.)
- At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a similar setting.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety within eight (8) weeks of hire.
- Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle screening for insurance purposes, as transporting clients is required.
- Ability to remain calm and effectively de-escalate crises.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong confidentiality adherence and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build and foster strong professional relationships with team members across multiple sites.
- Strong administrative, clinical, and management capabilities.
- Knowledge of Arizona’s behavioral health care system, licensing, and contract standards.
- Experience with staff development, process improvement, and program outcomes.
- Ability to develop, analyze, and monitor program budgets.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment while being sensitive to individuals' socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Must maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and emotional stability in all interactions.

- Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
