Who we need :

The Senior Network & Systems Administrator is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. This would include all enterprise class servers, cloud environment (Azure and AWS),network equipment and desktop environment. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to the customers of the department. Performs full supervision of the Network Administration staff and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems. or combination of relevant certifications and five plus years experience in managing health care information systems

Satisfactory work record as determined by the Human Resources Department.

Three years demonstrated responsible administrative experience.

Knowledge or experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance and meet agency personnel requirements.

Manual dexterity to include (but not limited to) : stooping, bending, lifting, and carrying.

Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Ability to meet Copa driver eligibility requirements, as applicable.

Ability to use computers, scanners, copiers, fax machine, cell phones, etc.

Proficiency in computer usage (i.e. email, internet, Microsoft Office, KRONOS, and other programs as required).

JOB SUMMARY

Design and maintain on-prem and cloud services (Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, AWS, etc.)

Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot server and network infrastructure throughout Copa.

Configure and troubleshoot software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.

Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot routers, firewalls, switches and other networking infrastructure for local area and wide area networks (LAN / WAN), including Internet connectivity.

Train and provide troubleshooting procedures to helpdesk personnel for first-line network issues.

Perform day-to-day administration of the company's server and network infrastructure.

Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot PBX systems throughout Copa's infrastructure.

Monitor and troubleshoot server and network performance and security issues

Audit and document network configurations and updates.

Configure and maintain Copa's backup solution(s).

Demonstrate excellent oral, written and electronic communication. Ensure the coordination of information and confidentiality of communications within the agency.

Maintain a quality department which promotes best business practices.

Demonstrate and maintain professional and productive working relationships with all agency departments, staff, board members, and community.

Demonstrate excellent work habits to include, but not limited to the following : time management, initiative, role modeling, leadership, organizational skills, and multitasking.
