What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foundation Drafter position at Copeland Engineering, LLC?
We are seeking an AutoCAD Drafter who will produce residential Foundation designs. The perfect candidate will have Foundation drafting experience, but it is not required. AutoCAD experience is required. We can train you the rest of the way. Vacation and 100% health insurance paid by employer.
The right candidate:
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word
- Must have residential design and construction knowledge
- Have strong math skills
- Have strong spatial reasoning ability
- Able to read building plans
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Can perform repetitive designs autonomously and quickly with extreme attention to detail
- Can work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Has the ability and desire to work overtime
- Is a positive team player with great attitude
Experience:
- AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
We provide 80 hours of PTO that renews each anniversary of hire date. Additionally, we pay 100% of health, dental and vision for the employee. This is full-time and in-person position. We seek a candidate who can come into the office daily to learn about our industry and clientele in order to properly assist our team and clients, and get up to speed as quickly as possible.
Salary : $20 - $23
