What You’ll Do:

• Manage the Lumber Process: Sort, chop, rip, finger joint, and glue lumber with precision.
• Operate Advanced Machinery: Use high-tech woodworking machines, including the finger joint machine, to create components for our furniture.
• Create Beautiful Panels: Color match and glue staves to form durable, aesthetically pleasing panels.
• Ensure Accuracy: Measure and verify parts against detailed specifications, ensuring every piece meets Copeland’s high standards.
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Workspace: Keep your workspace organized, safe, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous woodworking experience or machine operation a plus but not necessary.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
• Basic math skills for measuring and verifying dimensions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.

Pay: $600.00 - $845.00 per week
