Shipping and Receiving Associate- Sidney Coperion Food Equipment is looking for Warehouse Associates to join our team! As an warehouse associate you will perform Shipping & Receiving (S&R) functions: picking and packing spare parts orders and work orders; receiving, unpacking, marking and locating inbound purchase receipts; preparing bills of lading and metering small parcel shipments; loading trucks and parcel vans. Assist in conducting daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliations. We are based out of Sidney, Ohio and serve baking operations around the world. What We Offer You: Monday through Friday schedule – 5,6, or 7 am start time and 8-10-hour days. Occasional mandatory Saturday work when needed. Hourly pay with OT after 40 hours a week. Loads and unloads trucks when required, makes external inspection of inbound items at the time of unloading and completes necessary paperwork during dock operations. Operates forklift trucks and other basic material handling and packaging equipment. Lifts and moves parts and other items, frequently weighing fifty pounds or more, unaided, and heavier loads with aids such as a hand truck. Loads, unloads and distributes materials carried on the shuttle truck as required and drives the shuttle truck between buildings. Participates in daily Cycle Count of activities as directed by supervision. Performs other shipping and receiving duties as required by the supervision. Basic Qualifications A minimum of 1 year experience in an active distribution environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, freight receipts, and packing lists. Basic math and computer skills. Forklift experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders.
