Job Title : Receptionist General Administrative and Clerical Support :
- Provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor.
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, or forward calls.
- Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Inform other employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations.
- Maintain visitor sign-in log.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings.
- Maintain and tidy the reception area.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Confidentiality and Compliance :
- Agree not to disclose residents' protected health information.
- Promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information.
- Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information. Supervisory Requirements :
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications : Education and / or Experience :
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
- Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred. Language Skills :
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Mathematical Skills :
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability :
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products.
- Proficiency in clerical functions and multiline phone systems. Physical Demands :
- The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear.
- Frequent use of office-related equipment, including copier / scanner / fax, telephone, and calculator.
