Job Title : Receptionist General Administrative and Clerical Support :

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.
  • Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, or forward calls.
  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
  • Inform other employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations.
  • Maintain visitor sign-in log.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings.
  • Maintain and tidy the reception area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Confidentiality and Compliance :
  • Agree not to disclose residents' protected health information.
  • Promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information.
  • Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information. Supervisory Requirements :
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications : Education and / or Experience :
  • Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred. Language Skills :
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Mathematical Skills :
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability :
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products.
  • Proficiency in clerical functions and multiline phone systems. Physical Demands :
  • The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear.
  • Frequent use of office-related equipment, including copier / scanner / fax, telephone, and calculator.
  • No travel required. Work Environment :
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
