Job Summary
We are seeking a Physician Medical Director to join our team at Copper River Native Association. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide direct patient care, oversee APP and CHA providers, and lead our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct patient care and supervision of APP and CHA providers.
  • Development of personalized treatment plans and coordination with receiving physicians.
  • Collaboration with other departments and providers at CRNA to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Peer review programs and risk management activities.
  • Development of best practice protocols and quality initiatives.
  • Collaboration with operational leadership to develop policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Medical or Osteopathy degree from accredited university.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related.
  • Valid state of Alaska medical license and DEA registration.
  • ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and BLS certified or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong community health background and at least three (3) years' experience in primary care.
  • Supervisory experience of Advance Practice Providers.
