Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking a CNC Programmer/Team Supervisor position. You will be responsible for directing and overseeing the CNC lathe team while ensuring all lathe operations are adequate to produce quality parts meeting customer and industry specifications at maximized efficiency.
Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience writing code for CNC lathes with use of both basic G / M code line programming and CAD/CAM software systems. This position also requires a minimum of 2 years of supervisorial experience with a proven record with team building, conflict resolution, and productivity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years’ experience in manufacturing/machining environment
- Knowledge of cutting tools/techniques
- Knowledge of different types of machines – 3, 4, 5-axis milling, turning, multi-function
- Knowledge of different steel metal types – including 1045, 4140, 4340 and Stainless steel
- Knowledge of common/current metal removing processes/techniques
- experience programming CNC equipment with knowledge of G and M code programming
- Responsible for creating machine code using CAM software across multiple departments.
- Experience creating CAM modules
- Experience working with 3D models & VERICUT type simulation software a plus
- Measure and report the effectiveness of production activities and employee performance
- Organize and maintain tooling inventory and both work & storage areas
- Ensure operator run efficiencies and part accuracy
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Proactively consult on CNC department staffing levels and assigns workload
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project progress and output status.
- General computer experience
- Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Windows 10 experience
- Ability to navigate an understand file structure and naming convention in Windows Explorer environment
- Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of the organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- This production position will require frequent physical activity, demanding flexibility and conditioning to work on your feet while occasionally lifting 50 lb bolts throughout an 8 hour shift.

Shift:
M-F 8 am - 5 pm
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
