We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for Spray painting various surfaces in an industrial setting. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Apply paint and coatings using various methods such as airless spraying, or HVLP
- Mix paint to achieve desired results
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished work for defects or imperfections
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience in industrial painting or a related field
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring and mixing paint quantities
- Familiarity with operating forklifts for material handling purposes
- Proficiency in airless paint and HVLP spraying techniques
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Auto painting experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and follow safety protocols
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
