Property Management Trainee
Copperwood Communities, headquartered in Gilbert, Arizona, is a successful family-owned investor and operator of affordable housing, resort-style communities, and commercial properties in the Southwestern United States with plans for expansion outside the region.

We are recruiting a qualified full-time Property Management Trainee (PMT). This is an early-stage career position for a mobile professional with some or no experience that we can train in the Copperwood way of managing and operating a property. The PMT can be deployed, for example, to stabilize a property undergoing staffing changes, be part of the acquisition transition team, or assist with platform training plans.
After training at our home office in Gilbert, AZ, you will be assigned a 3 – 6 Month Rotation Assignment at properties in our portfolio or a full-time permanent position at a property if suitable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or Operations, preferred.
- Associates Degree in Business Management or Accounting, acceptable.
- Customer facing skills – communication, problem-solving, interpersonal abilities, customer-centric service model.
- Operations classes or experience beneficial.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft productivity suite, required.
- Ability to learn, understand, and conduct fully electronic operations using our platform, required.
- Attributes - Reliable, honest, hard-working, basic math skills, good writing skills, attention to detail, ability to focus on work, proactive problem solver. Positive attitude, strong work ethic.
- Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
- Non-smoking environment.
- Ability to lift boxes and equipment up to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
