CUNY DANCE INITIATIVE : Call for Applications Company : CUNY Dance InitiativeLocation : NYCompensation : $1,000 minimum honorariumNew York City choreographers and dance companies are invited to apply for residencies via the CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI), a transformative arts incubator that takes advantage of CUNY facilities while integrating New York City’s dance community with the public university system. CDI provides rehearsal and performance space on 13 CUNY campuses and 4 partner organizations, plus teaching opportunities.Individual choreographers and companies working in a variety of styles, from contemporary to classical and culturally specific forms, are encouraged to apply.
