Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and answering questions about food & drink selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and payments accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, particularly for catering or banquet events.
- Uphold a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and team members.
Experience
- Previous experience in a Server role is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospitality practices and restaurant operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with Toast POS is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and sales techniques.
