SUMMARY : The Student Enrollment Coordinator performs a variety of tasks throughout the academic records process, performs clerical activities to maintain students’ files, and. assists in the student registration process, to ensure a smooth and accurate registration of students each term. This position provides support for students, faculty, and advisors navigating enrollment systems and works closely with academic departments and other campus offices to ensure a seamless academic student experience. This role will proactively modify and execute internal processes to strengthen initial student interaction with academics and promote student academic engagement for increased student retention. Performs a variety of duties to assigned areas of responsibility in the office of the Registrar.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Registrar Office Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of student academic records from imports through graduation, including dual credit and gap year programs accredited by Corban University
Primary Registrar’s Office contact for students, staff, faculty and guests for walk-ins, phone calls, voicemails, and emails.Initial input for student records, Populi input management for students including course add / withdraws, degree changes, graduation dates, etc. Scans and uploads academic documents to Populi student files.Works closely with the Admissions team to ensure a fluid transition from accepted students to enrolled students, facilitating the integration of admission data into the Registrar's systems for registration and record-keeping.Facilitate the introduction of new students to their assigned faculty advisors by ensuring timely communication and providing essential academic information, such as course registration requirements and student academic history.Monitors and records independent study and incomplete progress.Updates Planning Center with the correct rooms and dates for each term and finals week assignments.Tracks student grades and absences; provides proactive communication to students, faculty, and applicable campus offices to encourage student persistence.Processes program status changes such as degree changes, advisor assignments, course and university withdraws, and adds all necessary transcript notations.Fulfills incoming and outgoing transcript orders.Does initial input and evaluation for student ITEs.Provides support for registration processes.Supports the processing and updating of various online academic forms under the guidance of the marketing team (e.g. add / drop forms, petitions, change of major, etc.)Participates in the implementation of retention initiatives by identifying at-risk students, and assisting in communication and outreach efforts, helping students identify university resources that support academic success and university belonging.Submits regular National Student Clearinghouse data and responds to student records requests.Assists as part of the registrar team with Convocation, Grad Finale event, Commencement, and all registrar office supported events.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
