Corcoran Glass & Paint, Inc. is a leading provider of high-quality glass and aluminum solutions for commercial projects. As a Glazier, you will play a key role in preparing and installing glass and aluminum systems across various industries.
What You’ll Do
As a Glazier, your responsibilities will include:
- Installing aluminum framing accurately and securely to meet specifications.
- Safely and efficiently installing glass, doors, hardware, and other related components.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints or specifications to determine project requirements, including size, shape, color, and type of materials.
- Measuring dimensions and preparing materials for installation.
- Running smooth, straight, and defect-free caulk lines.
- Loading and unloading materials to and from company vehicles.
- Ensuring accurate placement and alignment of frames and components.
- Maintaining a safe and clean worksite.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, materials, and techniques.
- A high attention to detail for ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Physical ability to lift and handle heavy glass and equipment (up to 100 pounds); reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
- Initiative to identify and complete tasks proactively.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions, primarily outdoors.
- Ability to work at heights using boom or scissor lifts, with proper safety measures provided.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, with some projects requiring overnight stays.
- A reliable work history and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid transportation to and from work.
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings, in compliance with applicable laws.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, with general work hours dependent on project requirements.
- Flexibility needed based on project demands and travel.
