Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Origination and Structuring, the Senior Director, Origination and Structuring will be responsible for leading and managing interface with the offtakes from first point of contact to project operations for Cordelio's pipeline of wind, solar and storage projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the relationship with offtakes with a focus on investor-owned utilities, public utilities, brokers and advisors, and C&I and industrial customers for Cordelio projects.
- Support all aspects of contract negotiations with offtakes for Cordelio joint venture projects.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across departments during all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Oversee competitive and bilateral bidding processes.
- Lead offtake contract negotiations and coordinate internal subject matter expert and businessperson review.
- Create internal reporting related to offtake procurement efforts and trends.
- Conduct detailed competitive analysis in focus regions.
- Understand corporate and utility customer decision-making regarding energy needs, including sustainability targets and resiliency goals.
- Support as needed on contract compliance during the transition to asset management.
