Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a large, respected professional services firm in Virginia Beach that is searching for an Accounts Payable Lead/Supervisor. This is a direct hire, full time, permanent role.
Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23454
Work Schedule: Ideally 5 days a week on site (would consider 3-4 days on site and 1-2 days remote)
Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000
Our client is looking for someone who’s looking to take the next step in their career, and have experience both processing AP at high volumes, as well as leading a small team (2-3 individuals).
If you have T&E experience, and public company experience, this could be the role for you.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Full cycle accounts payable processing (matching, batching, coding, check run)
- High volume AP – 200 invoices
- Working with purchase orders
- Receiving approvals from managers and budgets
- Processing invoices
- Working with vendors to correct issues
Candidate should have the following background:
- 3 years of experience processing Accounts Payable, ideally with a $250 million revenue company
- Experience processing a high volume of 200 invoices
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Netsuite, etc.)
- Strong Excel experience (data entry, formulas, etc.)
- Ability to take direction from leadership and apply strategy to completing tasks
- “Can do” attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to start work within the next 2 weeks
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
