Administrative Assistant
Location: Rockville, MD – in office
1-year Contract

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant with strong Excel skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide general administrative support and perform routine data entry, document management, and report generation using Excel. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and efficient with managing data and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Generate, update, and format Excel reports as required, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Organize and manage electronic and paper files, ensuring all documents are properly categorized and easily accessible.
  • Prepare and proofread documents, forms, and correspondence.
  • Support team members with various projects and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Monitor office supplies and submit purchase requests as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or coursework in Excel or administrative fields is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of basic formulas, data sorting/filtering, and formatting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role is required.
