Job Summary:
The Customer Master Data Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of customer data across the sales organization. This position plays a key role in driving data initiatives that align with business objectives, ensuring data integrity, and implementing best practices for data governance and data quality management. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including IT, business operations, analytics, and sales, to ensure the creation, management, and optimization of high-quality, consistent and accurate customer master data.
- Lead and manage large-scale customer master data management program, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinates across teams to establish clear deliverables and timelines.
- Implements data governance standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of customer data. Monitor and enforces adherence to data quality standards.
- Define and execute the strategy for managing customer master data including integration with internal and external systems.
- Work closely with business and IT teams to align customer data management strategies with business needs. Communicate program progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders regularly.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in customer data management workflows. Streamline data integration, transformation, and delivery processes.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of customer data solutions, ensuring systems are optimized for accurate data flow across different platforms (e.g., JDE, CRM, ERP, Marketing systems, etc.).
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality and data governance, ensuring customer data meets high standards. Provide regular reports and dashboards on data health and progress toward program goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, privacy, security, and compliance. Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, FDA, HIPPA, and other data privacy laws.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on customer data best practices, tools, and systems to promote effective use of customer data.
Expected Areas of Competencies:
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong project / program management skillset, including scoping, execution / tracking, metrics, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and change management
- Knowledge of relevant data management tools and technologies (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica, Oracle MDM, etc.)
- Ability to create and gain buy-in for business cases and value creation and see through to realization
- Ability to work across divisions and functions to influence change across the organization
- Exceptional teaming & collaboration both internally & externally
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, FDA, and other industry-specific standards
- Expertise in CRM, ERP, and data management tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proven ability to manage complex data sets and ensure data quality in a high-stakes, regulated environment.
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:
- 8 years of experience in Metrics, Reporting and Analytics, Supply Chain Operations, Continuous Improvement, Business Process Improvement, Process Engineering or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred. Combined education and experience will be considered.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
- Ability to travel, estimated 25% travel
