Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and values in accordance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP").
- Administer an enterprise-wide standard costing methodology
- Account for the company's cost of goods sold with a focus on inventory on hand, inventory reserves, sensitive inventory movements, and associated inventory variances.
- Maintain cost accounting procedures and controls for process costs such as labor, manufacturing, material handling/storage, administration
- Prepare inventory reports for management, including valuation, potential obsolescence, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory numbers through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit.
- Develop and refine inventory accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance with changing financial regulations and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5 years of experience with public company manufacturing costing systems.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP software, NetSuite is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge and use of Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Assess business processes, research related costs, and calculate cost to manufacture.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual Mandarin Required.
- CPA License
