Our client has an immediate need for an SAP Supply Chain and Siemens Teamcenter Engineer to join their team.
Qualified candidates must currently reside within commutable distance to San Francisco, CA (without relocation) for this hybrid work environment.
- Please note that this is a 6-month contract to hire engagement with our client and NOT with Core BTS.
Supply Chain Techno-Functional Engineer - who brings a deep understanding of SAP Supply Chain and Siemens Teamcenter PLM to drive the integration and optimization of our supply chain processes and technology platforms. This role is pivotal in leveraging technology to enhance our supply chain efficiency, from product conception through to disposal, aligning closely with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) principles.
Proven experience in a supply chain or business system analyst role, with strong techno-functional expertise in SAP and Siemens Teamcenter.Solid understanding of supply chain processes, Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), Direct Procurement and how they integrate with SAP and Siemens Teamcenter.Key Responsibilities :
Business Requirement Analysis : Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements. Analyze business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.Solution Design : Design and propose technological solutions that address the identified business needs, improving process efficiency and data accuracy.System Implementation and Configuration : Lead the implementation of supply chain management systems, including configuring software to meet business requirements and integrating it with existing systems.Testing and Deployment : Coordinate the testing of new systems and features, ensuring they meet business needs without disrupting operations. Manage the deployment of solutions across the supply chain network.Training and Support : Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for users on new systems and features. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting any issues that arise.Performance Monitoring : Monitor the performance of implemented solutions, identifying and addressing any issues or areas for improvement.Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain operations and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and timelines.Lead the change management process for the supply chain team, providing training and support for users transitioning to the new system.Required qualifications :
7 years of Supply chain,Product Development, and / or Manufacturing Experience.5 years of experience implementing Siemens Teamcenter PLM technology solutions (solution design, installation, configuration, setup, and upgrades).2 Full lifecycleSiemens Teamcenter PLM implementation hands on experience of design, configuration, customization in the PLM platform; Specifically following functional areas in Siemens PLM :Document Management Part BOM Management Supplier Collaboration Management Change Management Integration with SAP
2 years of experience conducting the following activities : Business requirementsgathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design process, system testing and solution delivery, UAT customer support, process document creations and review, working with onsite and offshore delivery models.Software Development life cycle tools - Git based source code management, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and other tools used in modern development pipelines.Collaboration :Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure solutions align with business needs.Testing :Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the quality and stability of delivered solutions.Documentation :Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed objects and processes.
