As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, trade shows, and social events.
- Support the setup and breakdown of events, including arranging furniture, audio-visual equipment, decorations, and other materials.
- Handle on-site logistics, such as directing guests, managing schedules, and assisting with troubleshooting.
- Provide administrative support for event planners, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
- Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance are obtained for events, as required.
- Monitor event budgets and help with cost tracking and reporting.
- Assist with post-event evaluations and feedback collection.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
