Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Manage office management tasks including scheduling, billing, and patient records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and JCAHO standards to maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality and safety.
- Provide medical administrative support by coordinating with healthcare providers and staff to optimize clinic performance.
- Supervise staff members, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial health of the practice while identifying areas for cost savings.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks software for effective management of patient records and practice operations.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and enhance patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management within a medical or healthcare setting is required.
- Strong understanding of medical administrative support functions, including billing and coding processes.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and JCAHO standards is essential for maintaining compliance.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management within a clinical environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
