This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location.
SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements.
1. Manages the successful design, planning, and implementation of small to medium scale Technology/Operational Projects for CoreCivic.
2. Executes PMO projects in strict compliance with CoreCivic’s Enterprise Program Management Methodology.
3. Scopes out the length and difficulty of project tasks. Develops baselines and maintains the project plan in Workfront the Corporate PPM Tool. Ensures the appropriate timing, resources and sequencing of the work efforts are aligned to produce the desired results with the project schedule.
4. Communicates plans, status, and issues updates within the team, group, or project, including both IT and business members and executive management, on a regular basis to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs, expectations and requirements. Follows current status reporting cadence frequency. Serves as the primary point of communication for the project.
5. Maintains and monitors project documentation through all phases of the Project (Ideation, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control / Monitoring and Closeout) to ensure compliance with the Enterprise Project Management Office's standard methodologies, practices and processes.
6. Coordinates testing and training of new technology services prior to implementation, as indicated in the PMO Methodology.
7. Facilitates project closure reviews & documents findings in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project components. Posts documents to the project repository in Workfront; the Corporate PPM Tool.
8. Maintains relationships with customer departments and ensures all support is provided in the context of assisting application users succeed in their business goals.
9. Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Technology, Operations Management, Business Management or other related field is required.
- Two years of work experience in project management, to include leading and directing project tasks is required.
- PMP / CAPM certification is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written and group communication skills are required.
