We are seeking a candidate to hire during the start of anew emergency operation to provide auxiliary support during times of crisis. We are looking for a dedicated Program Coordinator for a limited term to join our Smoke Remediation program. This position will work directly with the ProgramManager to provide operational and administrative support. This role involves coordinating with program partners and beneficiaries to communicate scheduling and equipment logistics. The position demands flexibility, organization and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of response operations.
This is a full-time temporary position for two months that may extend based on funding and programmatic needs. This position may be called on to support other disasters.

Responsibilities
- Project Implementation:
- With the Program Manager, coordinate with other program partners to schedule houses for smoke remediation and communicate all necessary information to relevant parties.
- Communicate effectively with beneficiaries about the scope of the program.
- Call beneficiaries to coordinate scheduling of smoke remediation.
- Drive to fire affected areas to deliver equipment to teams as needed.
- Support Program Manager in internal and external meetings, particularly if they are unavailable.
- Track intake and ensure all necessary information is well documented according to policy.
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry and documentation.
- Provide support in budget tracking as needed.
- Maintain regular contact with site leads and program partners about scheduling and all relevant information regarding schedules.
- Provide support as needed maintaining equipment inventory.
- Pick up supplies and deliver them to storage facility.
- No direct reports
- Must be able to drive to Eaton and Palisades fire impacted areas as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Emergency Management, Public Administration, Humanitarian Aid, International Relations, Social Work, or related fields that offer foundational knowledge in crisis response, workforce management, and organizational coordination OR
- 2 years' work experience in emergency response, humanitarian aid, social work or related field.
- Proven experience in emergency operations and project coordination.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities, with experience working across multiple departments and teams.
- Experience in logistics would be considered a plus.
- A commitment to CORE's mission and values, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those affected by disasters.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 Applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skillsand ability to track data across multiple platforms.
- Flexible and adaptive to a frequently changing environment
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history
- Fluent in Spanishpreferred
- Understanding and appreciating diverse cultural backgrounds and sensitivities, ensuring that all interventions are respectful and appropriate to the communities served.
