CIVIL ENGINEER – FE/PE
Core Engineering Group is a growing civil engineering and land surveying firm in the Southwest and is looking for a talented engineer to join our team. Our projects are in a variety of civil engineering areas, from transportation projects to site designs, from local clients to Federal projects, and all levels in between. We focus on quality of life complimenting a productive work environment to produce quality engineering projects with long-term employees.
Requirements are:
• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
• Must be an AZ P.E. or ability to obtain.
• At least 4 years’ experience related to site design, land development and municipal project design.
• Have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3-D
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
Responsibilities Include:
•Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
•Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications
• Execute project based on outlined criteria
• Project management of assigned projects along with related technical personnel
• Apply design standards within the design of civil engineering projects
• Bring projects from conceptual design to final design with minor level of oversight
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with roadway, drainage and traffic design.
• Construction management experience.
Location: Yuma, AZ
Working Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM
Employment Status: Full-Time
