Survey Equipment Manager Edmonton, AB
who has experience in the geomatics sector and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
- Assist in coordinating the maintenance, calibration, and repair of equipment
- Liaising with vendors, technicians, and service providers as necessary
- Support the deployment and retrieval of equipment for field operations, working alongside project teams
- Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment condition, identify maintenance needs, and address any issues
- Assist in managing vendor relationships, including procurement of new equipment and replacement parts
- Assist in monitoring equipment usage and expenses, optimizing resource allocation and budgeting to drive operational efficiency
What you bring to the table:
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment management in the geomatics sector
- Geomatics diploma or degree
- Strong knowledge of geospatial equipment, tools, and technology
- Proficiency in equipment maintenance and repair techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays occasionally based on project demands
- Ability to travel outside of the local area when necessary
