Core Government Services is seeking an experienced military training professional for immediate hire in support of the US Army's Training Management Directorate (TMD) located at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. TMD is the Army's proponent for training management, responsible for developing training and education products that support both institutional and operational units.
Job Description:
As part of our team, the Training Developer will support Army Training Management Directorate responsibilities of developing and sustaining learning products to inform soldiers and Army Civilians on new and changing training capabilities, doctrine, and policy. You will assist with development, management, and sustainment of Army training publications including Field manuals, Doctrinal Publications, Training Circulars, and other educational products.
This position is limited to United States citizens who can receive a favorable US Government Tier 1 background investigation.
Desired Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a major in adult education.
- United States Army Command and General Staff College, Sergeants Major Academy, or military service school MEL-4 equivalent preferred.
Desired Experience:
- Three (3) years of training management, or analysis of training data and information.
- Familiarity with FM 7-0, Training, AR 350-1, Army Training and Leader. Development, and TR 350-70, Army Learning Policy and Systems and its supporting pamphlets.
- Professional working knowledge of Army Defense Training Management System (DTMS) and its role in supporting Army training management requirements.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Professional Office Products
- Ability to quickly learn the following tools and systems: Kentico Content Management System (CMS) and its Object-Oriented Database Management System (OODBMS), Adobe Design Software, Camtasia, ServiceNow, Training Development Capability (TDC), and SharePoint.
Working Conditions: On-site inside a Government office at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Required Travel: Minimal
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Week: 0730 - 1630, Monday - Friday (may vary based on mission requirements), Overtime: as required.
