Job Description
The Operations Manager - Pulp and Paper Cargo will play a key role in coordinating with various departments such as shipping, logistics, and safety teams to optimize the supply chain process for pulp and paper shipments. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and team management skills, as well as strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient cargo handling plans.
- Coordinate with shipping companies, terminal operators, and logistics teams.
- Supervise, train, and mentor stevedoring staff.
- Allocate tasks based on cargo types and operational requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or related field (preferred).
- Professional certifications in stevedoring, safety management, or maritime operations (a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in stevedoring or port operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
