Accounting Specialist Responsibilities
- Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including billings and collections.
- Maintain accurate cash management and records.
- Organize and maintain historical financial records through systematic filing.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Management Reporting & Support
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management when required.
- Oversee the 12-week cash forecast and provide regular updates.
- Manage the petty cash fund efficiently.
- Issue invoices with appropriate payment terms.
- Ensure timely collection and reconciliation of receivables.
- Process and manage vendor invoices.
- Ensure timely payments with proper approvals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of P&L, GL, AP/AR processes, and bank reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
