Sales Support Engineer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions and support throughout the sales process.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and product specifications tailored to meet customer needs.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers, sales representatives, and distributors.
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments to ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries.
- Provide training and technical guidance to sales personnel and distributors on products and applications.
- Support the development of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including product catalogs, datasheets, and application guides.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four year College or University (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 5 years of successful applications engineering / sales support experience in an industrial environment, preferably in pumps, instrumentation, valves and flow control products.
- This relationship builder must have excellent interpersonal skills (in person and on the phone) and be computer literate in an office environment.
