About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Toxicologist to join a leading environmental consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in toxicology, risk assessment, and environmental health and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of scientific reports and technical documents related to chemical exposure and health risk assessments.
- Manage and mentor teams in addressing environmental health and safety challenges.
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate human health and ecological impacts of chemical exposure.
- Review and critically evaluate scientific literature and project-specific documents.
- Provide expert consultation and direction to clients in environmental and industrial hygiene-related fields.
- Participate in the emergency response program as part of on-call duties.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Toxicology or related field, or ABT Certification with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 7-10 years of experience in scientific consulting, particularly in risk assessment and toxicology.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based platforms and analytical chemistry methodologies.
- Ability to obtain HAZWOPER, DISA, and TWIC certifications.
