What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Laundry Attendant position at CORE Linen Services?
DIRECT HIRE WITH BENEFITS JOB OVERVIEW:
Sort, process and finish all soiled bed linens, terry and food and beverage table linens by operating all laundry cleaning machinery in accordance with standards. Perform other duties that are assigned.
REPORTS TO: General Manager and/or Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
· Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
· Prioritize and organize.
· Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement.
· Follow directions thoroughly.
· Understand customer’s service needs.
· Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
· Work with minimal supervision.
· Maintain confidentiality of customer information and pertinent laundry data.
· Work flexible hours/days
· Ability to work in all areas of the plant.
· Ability to perform all tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
