Key Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Operation: Operate and manage a variety of rotary-wing platforms, including CH-53K, MV-22B, H-1 Upgrades, and others, as part of tactical and operational missions.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, operational standards, and mission-specific regulations during training and real-world flight operations.
- Training & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior aviators and crew members, enhancing skills and ensuring proficiency through regular training exercises and operational feedback.
- Mission Planning & Execution: Develop, plan, and execute mission strategies, working with both rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft in joint operations.
- U.S. Marine Corps Aviator with Rotary-Wing experience
- Minimum of 7 years combined experience in:
- Navy Operational Test and Evaluation
- Developmental, integrated, or experimental test and evaluation
- Operation and/or maintenance of Air Warfare systems
- Qualified as a Naval Aviator or Naval Flight Officer
- 5 years of experience in the direction/management of rotary/tiltrotor platform operations or Test and Evaluation, including the following platforms:
- CH-53K, MV-22B, H-1 Upgrades
- Ability to complete the Mission-Based Test Design (MBTD) and OT/Framework course within 3 months of employment
- Completion of Technical Assistance Agreement(s) (TAA) within 6 months of task order award
- Experience with joint operations, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft used in amphibious, combat, and expeditionary missions
- Familiarity with mission planning systems, aircrew resource management, and combat mission training
Must be eligible for and able to obtain security clearance.
