Position Overview

The Corporate Accounting Intern will assist the Corporate Accounting team with multiple projects and daily tasks related to the accounting and financial reporting cycle of the company. The Intern will contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, motivation to learn, and a desire to take on new challenges.

What You Will Do


  • Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting packages
  • Preparing journal entries and reviewing ledger details
  • Analyzing and forming commentary on variances
  • Maintaining supporting schedules for GAAP-based financial statements
  • Work and establish positive relationships and maintain frequent communication with various corporate teams
  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations
  • Assist Senior Associates with ad hoc projects
  • Perform an inventory count with the assistance of our Senior Associates
  • Interact with and review the accuracy of work prepared by third-party accounting provider
  • Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation


Ideally, you'll have


  • Current sophomore or junior in college studying Accounting
  • An understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • A team player attitude and motivation to learn
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word
