Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a contract HRBP. The role will be hybrid, and can sit in either Nashville, TN (preferred) or New York, NY.
Who You’ll Work With:
The People Business Partner is responsible for the implementation of the global People strategy through strong partnership with client groups, as well as providing advice and guidance in relation to people issues. The People Business Partner is responsible for advancing the employee experience by driving execution in policies, processes, and strategy related to performance management, talent management, and learning. The People team is a global team that engages, supports, and cultivates the Firm’s greatest asset – their people.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Clients, Sr People Business Partners, and People team to build trusted relationships.
- Partner with clients on delivering all aspects of the employment lifecycle, including but not limited to: employee relations, organizational development, staffing, coaching, talent development, training, retention, and employee exits;
- Advise, coach and guide managers to enhance employee engagement and confidently handle performance and employee relations issues.
- Partner with People and clients to effectively design, implement, enhance, communicate, and manage People programs
- Provide People project leadership on significant business events
- Partner with People Operations team on the termination and resignation process including the exit logistics such as updating systems, preparing final payment, and conduct exit interview (where needed);
- Own the accurate maintenance of employee records in Workday and HR Acuity
- Own the accurate maintenance and update of relevant employee handbook and People policies
- Champion ad hoc special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5-8 years of experience working as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
- Experience working in Asset Management and/or Financial Services
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Strong organization, time management skills with high attention to detail
- Experience overseeing start to finish projects with independence; experience partnering cross functionally on key projects and programs
- Deep commitment to client service with strong relationship management skills
