What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter position at Core Tech Industrial Corp?
Core Tech Industrial Corporation is seeking a product designer/drafter to become an integral part of our team! You will assist in the design and development of electrical and mechanical components and systems:
Responsibilities:
- Produce mechanical component drawings, assembly drawings and models of large enclosures and structural assemblies using Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Inventor programs.
- Produce electrical elementary drawings, electrical component drawings, electrical assembly drawings and models using Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Inventor programs. This will include drawings and models for motor control centers, motor starters, battery charging systems, medium voltage switch gear, industrial electrical distribution and instrumentation enclosures.
- Work as a team member with the engineering department to complete tasks on time.
- Improve and enhance Core Tech drafting standards.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 5 years previous design/drafting experience in engineering or other related fields Preferred.
- Experience with 3D Modeling Autodesk Inventor preferred.
- Experience with 2D drafting AutoCAD preferred.
- Experience with GD&T.
- Good attention to detail.
- Must be able to work off markups from Engineering.
- Effective communication skills.
