The Position :
CCP is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist Recruiter to join our team and help us attract top talent while enhancing the employee experience. This position will lead the company's hiring efforts, focusing on filling approximately 15-20 positions per year, including field and office roles. This person will oversee new hire onboarding to guarantee a positive experience, plan and coordinate events, take on project administration duties, and perform other administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, organized, personable, and passionate about creating a welcoming workplace.
Responsibilities :
Recruitment :Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for both field and office roles. These recruitment strategies may occasionally involve grassroots efforts for field workers such as setting up a booth at local markets or events to engage potential employees in their environmentCreate and post job advertisements on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and industry networksSource and screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers to make final selectionsMaintain relationships with local workforce organizations, trade schools, and community groups to build a talent pipelineTrack recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadershipLaunch our social media presence with regular postings across platforms to spread a positive image of CCP to potential new employees and clientsOnboarding :Plan and facilitate a seamless and positive onboarding experience for new hiresPrepare new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with all employment regulationsConduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, safety procedures, and culturePerform post onboarding follow up call to see how their experience is going with supervisorCompliance & Safety :Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (EEO, FMLA, OSHA, etc.)Maintain employee records, I-9 documentation, and personnel files in accordance with legal requirementsSupport the company's safety initiatives, working with supervisors to ensure compliance with OSHA and job site safety standardsEmployee Engagement & Performance Management :Consistently organizes company events, including team-building activities, training sessions, and celebrationsSupport initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace cultureServe as a point of contact for employee concerns, promoting a positive work cultureMediate workplace disputes and provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actionsAssist in performance reviews and employee development plansPayroll & Benefits Administration :Oversee payroll processing in coordination with accounting, ensuring accuracy and complianceAdminister benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), workers' compensation, and PTO policiesAssist employees with benefits enrollment and address any questions or concernsHR Policies & Process Improvement :Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and proceduresOwns employee handbook. Ensure proper documentation and implementation of company policiesContinuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experienceProject Administration :Provide administrative support to project teams, including maintaining records, tracking project milestones, and assisting with documentationServe as a liaison between the office and field teams to ensure smooth communication and coordinationAssist with other administrative tasks as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications :
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)Previous experience in recruiting, HR, or a related field, preferably within construction or a similar industryStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levelsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practicesExperience with project administration or event planningUnderstanding of the construction industry and labor marketSalary Benefits :
