Founded in 2019, WA employs over 20 professionals, including Certified Financial Planners, public accountants, investment management analysts, and a top-tier service team. The firm is committed to delivering exceptional financial advisory services and executing a strategic M&A growth strategy.
The Position : The Director of Operations will play a key role in WA's M&A strategy, overseeing due diligence, integration of newly acquired RIAs, and ensuring smooth transitions. Additionally, this role is responsible for formulating and executing operational plans that enhance client onboarding and service quality. The Director of Operations will lead the operations and trading departments, establish best practices, and oversee staffing and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Develop centralized operational processes and supervision across the organization.
- Build and manage tasks and workflows within CRM and portfolio management systems to support large-scale M&A growth.
- Oversee the operational transition and training of new WA employees acquired through M&A.
- Integrate newly acquired RIAs into existing WA procedures and platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless M&A transitions.
- Document operational processes and policies.
- Manage daily operational business functions, processes, and associated staff.
- Assign and monitor operational tasks, ensuring goals are met and risks are minimized.
- Set team goals, manage performance, and oversee hiring and training.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in internal operations.
- Oversee and automate client billing, including aggregation of household assets and various fee structures.
- Manage monthly portfolio management performance reporting.
- Monitor and support operations software and systems, serving as the primary technical contact.
- Manage custodial relationships, including fee-only, brokerage, and insurance business.
- Oversee the trading process, ensuring accuracy in account, trade, and pricing data.
- Manage quarterly fee uploads to custodians for billing.
- Prioritize tasks to align short- and long-term business goals.
