What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Response Liaison position at CORE?
The Emergency Response Associate serves as a critical point of contact for CORE and additional entities involved in emergency response, like the Emergency Operations Center. This role is responsible for facilitating communication, coordination, and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and timely responses to emergencies and crises. The Emergency Response Associate will act as the liaison between various teams, agencies, and organizations, helping streamline information flow and support emergency operations.
Objective :
- Serve as the central liaison between CORE and external entities such as local, state, and federal emergency response agencies, or relevant partners.
- Work with emergency management teams, local authorities, and community partners to build trust andidentify and address potential gaps in emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Ensure that key stakeholders are promptly and accurately informed about ongoing emergency situations, resource availability, and response activities.
