The Senior Contract Administrator position requires knowledge of federal government contracts including the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of the contract lifecycle to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. The position will manage the pre-award and closeout contract administration. The Position reports to the Vice President of Contracts and Compliance.
Responsibilities
- The candidate should have progressive experience providing cradle-to-grave contract administration support for various CPFF, CPFF-LOE, FFP, and T&M Government contracts; including opportunity shaping, RFP analysis, hands-on proposal development, coordination of appropriate internal reviews, contract negotiation, and contract/task order administration and execution.
- Proposal and pricing compliance on various multiple and single award contract types.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions for Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements (TAs), and Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCIs).
- Complete project setup in accounting system (Deltek Costpoint) in accordance with contract terms and conditions (CLIN/SLIN/ACRN Billing)
- Reconcile payment issues against contract terms in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)
- Negotiates contract terms from proposal stage to contract close-out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
- All other duties assigned
- Four or more years of government contracting experience
- Understanding of FAR, DFAR, JTR regulations
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) business or related discipline from an accredited college/university (General experience in Contract Administration may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Experience with government contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee Level of Effort (CPFF-LOE), Labor Hour (LH), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Multiple Award Contracts (MACs)
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills are required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experienced in Deltek CostPoint
