Corebridge Financial ERM is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Corebridge Insurance Company of Bermuda (CICB) & Institutional Markets (IM) ERM team, reporting to the CICB/IM CRO. This person will be a key member of the Team and will be responsible for review and challenge of all Financial and Operational risks. The position will interact with multiple other functions including Finance, Pricing, Valuation, Investments, ALM, and Operations as well as other teams within the greater ERM organization. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and desire to deliver high quality work.

The Key Responsibilities Of This Position Include
- Support the Business CRO to oversee the risk management framework and internal controls of the business.
- Risk oversight of key risks within the business. Carries out review and challenge of the following areas:
- Product development and pricing, with focus on product feature design and reasonableness of pricing assumptions and profitability.
- Underwriting.
- Investment strategy, asset allocation and management.
- GAAP and Statutory valuation, with focus on quarterly reserve judgments.
- ALM and hedging, including changes to ALM modeling and risk profile.
- Stress testing and scenario analysis.
- Capital modeling and economic metrics.
- Outsourcing.
- Carries out deep dive reviews on areas of concern as identified by Corebridge ERM and business management.
- Monitors emerging risks and regulatory developments.
- Review and challenge of strategic transactions.
- Produces quarterly management and Board level risk reports.
- Supports other management and regulatory reporting as necessary, including the CISSA.
- Supports other ERM teams such as Operational Risk, Risk Analytics and Model Validation Group on projects as they relate to the business.
- 10 years of experience in Actuarial, Risk, Finance, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of US insurance product features and risks.
- Strong investment product understanding
- Risk management experience preferred
- General competency related to US insurance pricing, valuation (Statutory, GAAP, and Economic), and underwriting.
- Quick learner, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Well organized with ability to manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Strong team player with demonstrated success working in cross-functional collaborative teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
