Vice President, Infrastructure, Private Placements
Corebridge Institutional Investments’ Private Credit Group (“PCG”) invests on behalf of Corebridge's Life & Retirement companies and an external client. PCG manages a $27 billion portfolio across several classes, including Corporate Privates (“CP”), Infrastructure, Asset Backed Securities (“ABS”), and Leveraged Capital (high yield and mezzanine securities). The investment grade investments are typically long-term, fixed rate debt securities issued by public or private companies outside of the public bond market, in a range of industries and geographies. Infrastructure within the PCG focuses on energy, all types of utilities, physical assets and Project Finance.
In this Vice President role, you will lead Infrastructure deal teams in evaluating new transaction opportunities and manage an assigned portfolio of existing investments. You will be responsible for all aspects of the underwriting process, as well as pricing and negotiating amendment activity on portfolio, in addition to mentoring and training less experienced analysts. New investment recommendations and amendment and restructuring negotiations must be conducted using good judgment on credit, structure and pricing with the goal of providing appropriate levels of protection and return for the risk taken.

What We Are Looking For
- 10 years of experience in debt capital markets, preferably 8 in private placement market.
- Four-year degree from an accredited college or university is required; MBA, and/or CFA preferred.
- Excellent credit analysis, oral and written communication skills.
- Track record of successfully achieving goals, leading deal teams and managing a value-added private credit portfolio.
- Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure development and Project Finance structures is a plus.
- Proficiency in all aspects of the private placement transaction process.
- Proven leadership qualities and accomplishments, combined with positive attitude and collaborative work-style.
