The Kirkbride Center is a licensed 302-bed comprehensive behavioral health care facility on a 17-acre campus in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. We provide a spectrum of addiction services to our patients.
Job Overview:
The PMHNP- BC position requires that the Nurse Practitioner work in collaboration with and under the direction of the physician. As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Kirkbride Center, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive medical and psychiatric patient assessments and evaluations. You will play an integral role in developing a plan of care for the patient, consisting of laboratory testing, pharmacological therapy, and patient education.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing required
- Graduate of an accredited Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner Program
- License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
- Certification through ANA is preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of chemical dependencies experience required
