Privately-owned, family-run business in the midst of dynamic growth seeking to hire a full time chemical operator. The human resources generalist and administrative aid CORECHEM seeks to hire would be required to embody these same values. This individual would be responsible for ensuring that CORECHEM is in compliant with work place regulations, fully staffed, maintaining a pleasant work place, and ensuring the leadership team is well supported administratively.
As an organization, CORECHEM would offer this new hire compensation commensurate with industry and experience to include: salaried pay (Salary 45-55k, dependent on experience), PTO, vacation, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Oversee talent management activities, including performance management, employee development, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws, drug free workplace program and other regulations, including FMLA and other leave programs
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR program management
-Maintain training schedules
-Manage the schedule and email of the CEO
-Book CEO travel
-Provide administrative support to the broader leadership team by running and notating meetings (weekly leadership meeting and month staff meeting)
-Input notes from meeting in to our accountability software, 90.io.
-Work with leadership to ensure that tasked items are completed.
-Coordinate and plan off site meetings and twice annual company wide events (supported by leadership team)
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an HR Generalist
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment labor laws
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Paychex
