This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location.

This position pays $85,000 - $100,000K annually.

The Manager of HR Communications is responsible for the research, writing and development of strategic content for use in multiple communications platforms in furtherance of the company's goals to attract, hire and retain employees. Serves as a liaison among FSC Communications, HR and vendor teams to ensure the brand and message integrity and consistency of content produced for recruitment and retention initiatives.

  • Designs, develops, and implements communications strategies and initiatives focused on every element of the employee experience to attract candidates, engage our employees, elevate our culture, and provide a compelling and authentic vision of our company.
  • Develops and adapts strategic content for use in multiple communications platforms and in support of marketing, branding and internal/external communications for employee recruitment, development, and retention initiatives.
  • Supports the design, development, and delivery of change management communications.
  • Works with HR Talent Acquisition, media advertising vendors and subject matter experts to research and compile relevant facts and information in support of the development of focused content and marketing materials. Ensures consistency of material content between branding and recruitment efforts.
  • Working with members of the HR leadership team, develops communications and delivers messages which describe, reinforce, and advance the company's Employee Value Proposition.
  • Supports content for employer careers pages and provides a responsive presence on Facebook, Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media or recruiting-specific platforms.
  • Works with members of the Benefits team to educate and promote the company's wellbeing and benefits plans and programs.
  • Works with Enterprise Learning and Development to market internal and external educational opportunities to include, but not limited to CoreCivic University, Learning and Development, and Field/Operations training.
  • Partners with Organizational Development on the design and content development related to performance management, talent management, leadership selection, employee engagement, and culture transformation initiatives.
  • Gathers, analyzes and prepares reports and provides guidance based on data analytics associated with marketing, advertising, and branding efforts relevant to employee recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Domestic U.S. travel may be required.


Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or a related field is required.
  • Three years of relevant communications and marketing experience is required.
  • Excellent writing and editorial abilities are required.
  • Knowledge of website and social media administration is required.
  • Must be able to interact with all internal clients, including senior management.
  • HR Communications experience is preferred.
  • Experience with communications efforts in support of large-scale organizational change efforts, utilizing change management principles preferred.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video production preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
