Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical accounting areas, including fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses, leases, and other similar functions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production of monthly reporting sourced from data warehouse to generate Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems.
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required.
- Crosstrain and serve as backup to other team members as needed.
- Aid in the development and implementation of a centralized accounting function to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the organization.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting by standardizing accounting practices and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems, familiarity with ODOO ERP a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
