Emerge Pediatric Therapy is a leader in Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy. We are a women owned and therapist owned small business that has been serving the Triangle Area for over 20 years. Our mission is to enhance the lives of the children we serve and the families who love them by providing a fun, nurturing, and supportive therapeutic environment.
What do we do?
Emerge Pediatric Therapy provides therapeutic services to support the children and their families in our community. We empower caregivers to help their children develop into confident children. We also support our therapists. We want to see our therapists grow in their careers.
Where are we going?
We have grown our practice to better serve more of the Triangle and surrounding areas. Since 2020, we have opened two additional locations to now include, Cary, Carrboro and Durham. Emerge Pediatric Therapy is a growth-driven practice. Our future goals include continuing to expand our team, to further develop our teams’ specialty skills, and to become the #1 sought-after pediatric clinic for both our clients and employees.

Therapy Aide
Emerge Pediatric Therapy is looking for a full time / part time (30-40 hours per week) Therapy Aide to add to their growing team! This position primarily supports the therapy team so that the therapists can spend their time face to face with clients. If you are organized, like working in a fast paced environment, and love working around children then this position is for you!
Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to enhance the lives of the children we serve and the families who love them by ensuring the clinic remains clean, organized, safe, and presentable, while also assisting staff with materials and therapy needs. Some of the ways this is carried out include:
Maintaining and creating organization systems
Managing inventory and stocking supplies
Washing and putting away dishes daily
Doing laundry as needed
Resetting therapy rooms after sessions
Putting away toys and equipment
Preparing food for feeding therapy
Preparing materials for clinic needs (e.g., printing, laminating)
Cross-training on front desk procedures to assist as needed
Sanitizing soiled toys and surfaces
Keeping the waiting room in good condition
Assisting in therapy sessions as needed
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
