Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ nutritional histories, medical conditions, and lifestyle factors to develop personalized care plans
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care without conflicting recommendations
- Conduct nutrition assessments and explain results of body composition analysis and metabolic testing
- Educate patients on nutritional science, weight maintenance, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Use motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and empower patients to take control of their health
- Document all counseling sessions thoroughly for seamless care coordination
- Education: Bachelor’s in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field (Graduate degree preferred)
- Experience: Minimum one year as a Registered Clinical Dietitian preferred
- Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetics Registration, and state licensure required
- Skills: Strong ability to engage patients in self-care, accommodate cultural diversity, and support behavioral change
- Full-time, 10-hour workdays (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday; 7:00 am-5:30 pm/8:30 am-7:00 pm)
