Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science)

Description:

• Provides employee training, plant inspections, hazard evaluations and standards promalgation to meet the needs of the organization.
• Responsible for the industrial hygiene program, develop, update and conduct regulatory required training.
• Update the Respiratory Protection Program, Update lock/out tagout program, update hazard communication program, assist with EHS committees, day to day assistance with health and safety issues.
• BS in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science is required.
• 0-3 yrs. exp.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $41.00 - $42.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
